Transportation

Yonge Street and Bayview Avenue run north and south to connect you with highway 401 or the downtown core.

Bedford Park is easily accessible by TTC when not using a car.

Lawrence Subway Station is on the Yonge-University-Spadina line of the subway system. It is located at 3101 Yonge St. at Lawrence Ave. East/West, with an automatic entrance at Bedford Park Rd./Ranleigh Ave

Recreation

Wanless Park is the biggest in the area. Its sports facilities include tennis, baseball, and basketball courts, a small playground and shallow pool. Nearby is the Bedford Park Community Centre which houses a gym and a pool.

Another popular family hangout in Bedford Park is the Woburn Parkette. The George Locke Public Library at the south-east corner of Yonge and Lawrence offers activities for people of all ages.
